Vintage cylinder musical box produced by the firm Henry Riley & Sons of Birmingham, England.

It operates by pins on a revolving metal cylinder plucking the tuned teeth of a steel comb to produce musical notes.

Henry Riley & Sons were known instrument manufacturers in Birmingham during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Cylinder and comb mechanism housed within a wooden casing, featuring a glass lid to protect the delicate internals.
